Canberra’s longest established modelling agency, Victoria’s Models, celebrated 25 years in November. After a challenging year, it’s wonderful to reflect on the relationships we have developed with our models and clients in the Canberra community since 1995.
We have had the opportunity to work on many amazing events and advertising campaigns over the years, including TV commercials, photoshoots and online videos for tourism, real estate, hotels, clubs, govt campaigns and many other local businesses. We have coordinated fashion shows, launches, marketing campaigns and events in every shopping centre in Canberra. We have provided actors and extras for feature films and TV series, including 60 Minutes, Queer Eye (Netflix), Secret City, The Code, RAKE and Total Control. We have provided hosts, presenters and promotional models to help promote our clients in hundreds of events and campaigns. We have been fortunate to work with clients from Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, with our models working both in Canberra and for interstate campaigns. As I’ve grown up in Canberra, we do have strong ties to the Canberra community and we support various charities each year, with both donations and volunteering with our models.
We work very hard to manage and promote our models and they do an amazing job of representing our agency and our clients. We are immensely proud of our team. We have a very diverse range of models and actors, including talent of all ages, shapes, sizes and with plenty of cultural diversity. We have catwalk fashion models through to very accomplished actors and presenters. We have several models on our books who joined us in 1995 and in some cases, we have watched them grow up, get married and have kids, who are now also represented by us. There is a wonderful network within the agency and many models have made life-long friendships.
We believe our success stems from our integrity and professionalism and the positive and friendly culture we’ve developed within the agency. We have had over 5000 students attend our Grooming, Deportment and Modelling Courses over the years, including Self Confidence courses run in various Canberra and regional NSW high schools and colleges. Our course instructors are all amazing individuals and experts in their fields. We appreciate the opportunity to train individuals looking to get started in the industry and are grateful to our team for helping make our courses a success.
